Health & Wellness
At VES, we offer care around the clock. Our student-centered model provides coordinated, holistic care for each student without needing to leave campus. VES employs full-time professionals who specialize in health and wellness, including an on-campus Certified Pediatric Nurse Practitioner, in addition to mental health, counseling, and athletic training professionals.

Costas Wellness Center
The VES Costas Wellness Center is a state-of-the-art medical facility located in the heart of campus. Featuring 7 beds, 2 treatment rooms, a lab, a counseling office and mental health appointment room, and dedicated waiting areas for both sick and well visits, Costas provides both boarding and day students with the wellness care they need without leaving campus.
Led by Ginna Petrikonis, an on-campus Certified Pediatric Nurse Practitioner, the Costas Wellness Center is staffed by Registered Nurses, LPNs, and mental health counselors who are on call 24/7.
Costas Wellness Center offers the following services to our community:
- Medication administration & management
- Sick & Urgent care visits
- In-house lab testing for strep, the flu, Covid, mono, UA, Hgb, and more
- Prescription refills & management
- Counseling appointments
- Referrals & assistance with making any off-campus medical appointments, as needed
- Transportation to and from any off-campus medical appointments
- Scheduling medical passes for on-campus requirements
- Coordination of care between provider & families
- Flu shot & Covid booster clinics
