When the final polls were released Sunday, several of our teams earned a VISAA State Playoff bid: Cross Country, Field Hockey, Tennis and Volleyball. Our football team also earned a #3 seeding in the VISFL. We applaud the hard work and dedication from the student-athletes and coaches to get their teams into state playoffs. Below is an update on the teams and their playoff schedules. Please note that all of these schedules are subject to weather.
Field Hockey– Last night, our girls field hockey team fell 5-1 to Foxcroft. The girls earned their goal at the end of the game, showing their grit and determination through to the end!

Tennis– The Varsity girls play Cape Henry today (November 7). With a win, we will host the winner of the Foxcroft - Steward game. The second-round game would be played at 3 p.m. Friday, November 9 at VES. If we win Friday, we advance to the championship game on Saturday, November 10. If the #1 seed falls, we would host; if they win, we will travel to Norfolk Christian.
Cross Country– The team will run at Fork Union Military Academy on Friday, November 9. The boys DII race begins at 3 p.m. and the girls DII race begins at 4 p.m.
