Virginia Episcopal School—in partnership with the Curry School of Education at UVA—is hosting the VES Collaborative for Excellence in Teaching and Learning in Lynchburg, Va., August 1 – 3, 2018. Join us to learn how to Create & Lead a Differentiated Classroom.
Who We Are
Through the VES Collaborative for Excellence in Teaching and Learning, we are committed to advancing the knowledge and skills of faculty across grades K – 12 so they may deliver the teaching and learning excellence in the classroom. Collaborative in nature, the program brings teachers together with the experts in meaningful conversations and interactive workshops that center on sharing innovative practices, building your toolkit and learning how to apply newly acquired skills in the classroom.
Who Should Attend
Teachers in grades K - 12 at public and private schools, who are interested in gaining inspiration and knowledge about the topic of differentiated instruction
Learn from the Experts
Attendees will learn from the Differentiated Instruction experts—Curry School professors with deep knowledge, insights and experience in the field, led by Dr. Carol Ann Tomlinson. Over the course of three days, you will not only learn the key terms, principles and practices of differentiated instruction and assessment; you will leave with practical tools you can take back to school and immediately put into practice to respond to the needs of all learners.
