Boys Youth Summer Lacrosse Camps

VES Head boys’ lacrosse coach Mike Gardiner will lead a dynamic and fun day camp this summer for boys entering the 1st through 8th grade in the 2017/18 school year.

Session II
Monday July 31 - Thursday August 3
8:30 a.m. - 12:30 p.m.

* group rates and financial assistance are available. Contact Coach Gardiner for more information.

This summer lacrosse camp will focus on developing skills for both new and experienced players in a fun and fast-paced setting. We will work through drills that will focus on fundamentals and short-sided games. Indoor lacrosse also will be incorporated into our daily plan; this gives us an opportunity to focus on spacing, stick handling and fundamental defensive skills. Weather permitting, each day we will spend the last 30 minutes in the pool!

The camp will be led by current VES head coach Mike Gardiner. Coach Gardiner is a former Division I player, has taken his team to win three state championships and has been named coach of the year four times. He will lead a staff of current and former VES student athletes along with current and former college student athletes.

What to bring
  • Equipment*: Helmet, gloves, arm pads, shoulder pads, mouth guard, cleats, sneakers and a bathing suit
  • Snacks:  Please bring a drink and snacks

* We can help with equipment, if needed. Please let Coach Gardiner know.
