VES Wins Black History Trivia Game Night

The VES Black Student Union recently competed in a Black History Trivia Game Night against two other schools, Stevenson School and St. George's School. Their trivia team won the event, collaborating to answer trivia questions and defeating the other two teams.

A Message from the VES BSU Advisors:

We are thrilled to share some fantastic news with you all. Our Black Student Union recently participated in a Black History Trivia game night against Stevenson in California and St. George's in Rhode Island, and we are proud to say that our team emerged as the victorious champions!

We want to give a huge shoutout to Coach/Mrs. Porter for coordinating this event and ensuring that our students had the opportunity to showcase their knowledge and talents. It was a fantastic event that brought together students from different states and allowed them to learn and grow together.

Our Black Student Union represented our school exceptionally well and upheld the values that we hold dear at VES, including our commitment to "Towards Full Stature." Their victory is a testament to the hard work and dedication that they put into preparing for this event.

We are incredibly proud of our students, and we want to take this opportunity to congratulate them on their success. They have shown that with determination, teamwork, and a passion for learning, anything is possible.

Once again, congratulations to our Black Student Union on their well-deserved victory. We look forward to seeing more achievements like this in the future as we continue to strive toward excellence in all areas of our school community.
