On Thursday and Friday of last week, the faculty came together for two half-days of professional development—an important commitment to enhancing their skills and knowledge. During these sessions, they learned more of the technical aspects of Microsoft Teams to help make remote learning more seamless and shared best practices for online instruction, including virtual school lesson planning, with a focus on tying learning to our VES Academic Philosophy, making lessons dynamic, interactive and engaging for students, and creating opportunities for meaningful connections of ideas.
