Over Spring Break, our nine Chinese freshmen remote learners all took a trip together Sanya, Hainan, China—a beautiful island city off the coast of southern China. Of the trip, Ethan Wang said, "We stayed in a village called Clubmed and did many wonderful activities such as archery, sailing, trapeze and so on. We also rented a small yacht and did motorboats and paragliding. We went to the shopping mall and to the seafood market to taste the local seafood and delicious food." Sherry Bai summed up the trip by saying, "It was the first time we all had the chance to see each other face to face so was really fun."
We can't wait to have our remote learners on campus with us next year, but we love that our students, faculty and staff work so hard to stay connected and keep the meaningful relationships our wonderful community is known for.
