On Sunday and Monday, VES was delighted to host a highly engaged group of prospective families at our annual Overnight Open House for prospective boarding students. Participants learned about the transformative high school experience offered at VES and were able to experience ‘a day in the life’ of a boarding student as they stayed on dorm, attended classes and chapel, and ate lunch in the Dining Hall. Students and parents learned about our signature programs, were able to converse with current students and parents and dive deep into an understanding of our student and residential life activities. Associate Head of School, Chris Button, spoke about how we design and deliver our programs based on how teenagers learn best; Academic Dean and Director of College Counseling, Mimi Csatlos, spoke to parents about VES’ academic philosophy and how our teachers design their classes to engage and excite, spark passion in our students, and prepare them for college, and most importantly, for life. If you want more adventure, more challenge, deeper learning, extraordinary faculty and peer relationships in an engaging and globally diverse community, then you are ready for a life-changing education at VES!
