Alumni Spotlight: Matt Meadows '15 Named USILA Scholar All-American

Former VES lacrosse player and University of Lynchburg graduate Matt Meadows ‘15 earned USILA/ Warrior and New Balance Division III Scholar All-American honors. The United States Intercollegiate Lacrosse Association announced the team honors at the end of last month––making this the fifth straight season that the university placed at least one player on the list. Players earn this by combining a strong cumulative GPA (above a 3.0) along with USILA All-America recognition, playing in the senior All-Star game, or outstanding conference performance throughout their careers. Matt, a biology major, was named honorable mention All-America as a senior and earned two first-team All-ODAC honors in three years. Matt also earned VaSID All-State Second-Team honors for his strong play during the 2019 season. Congratulations, Matt!
