On Sunday, several of VES’ French students were recognized at the annual Alliance Française awards ceremony. For the writing competition, 300 essays were submitted from Lynchburg area schools. The French teachers nominated the top 25 percent in each of their levels and awards and placement were decided by the Alliance Française. Not only is it an honor to be nominated as the top 25 percent, but especially so to be chosen as one of the top writers for their level area wide. It was fun to be a part of the greater Lynchburg French community!
