Can You DIG It?

Over the November 3-4 weekend, 15 students––including Danny Staggers ‘22, Josh Staggers ‘20, Aaron Staggers ‘19, Hunt Bailey ‘20, Ismael Plet ‘20, Elijah Noble ‘22, Fabian Hultin ‘19, Davis Nau ‘21, Katharine Caprise ‘22, Grace Morales ‘20, Elizabeth Moorman ‘21, Holly Koudelka ‘21, Abigail Hanning ‘21, Amy Tran ‘21 and Reilly Mitchell ‘20––came away from the busyness of life on campus to attend the DIG spiritual life retreat held at Wintergreen. DIG is the campus Bible study that meets weekly at the home of Chad and Michelle Hanning. Retreat leaders Chad and Michelle Hanning, Will Greene and Chaplain Adam White guided students through moments of Bible study, games, music, reflection and fellowship. Using chapter three of Paul’s Letter to the Colossians as a guide, the weekend focused around the theme of our relationship with God and how that central relationship informs our relationship with others, inspiring community, thankfulness and love of neighbor.
