Our community spent Monday celebrating the finished products of 15 students who pursued VES’s year-long Advanced Study program, in which students independently plan, research, create and present on a topic of deep interest that pushes them beyond our standard academic curriculum.

The VES Glee Club was small in number but mighty in ambition this semester. This spring, we chose a song—"Story of My Life by One Direction"—and the students created a vocal arrangement using a karaoke backtrack to the piece.
