Spring Family Weekend

We look forward to having our parents, grandparents, and siblings join us Friday, April 21 – Sunday, April 23 for Spring Family Weekend!

This special weekend will give you the opportunity to spend quality time with your students on and off campus, as well as interact with faculty and staff and socialize with other parents and grandparents from the VES community!

Our weekend begins at 1 p.m. Friday with an Opening Reception, followed by a Welcome from Head of School Garth Ainslie and a Performing Arts concert. The afternoon continues with parent/teacher conferences and athletic contests.  

Saturday offers additional slots for parent/teacher conferences, a College Counseling Session for parents with Steve Farmer, Vice Provost for Enrollment, University of Virginia, and athletic competitions. All are invited to join us for lunch in Harrison Dining Hall.  Saturday concludes with a "Mandatory Family Fun" dinner and dance party for all, featuring the band Indecision. 

On Sunday we will gather for Morning Prayer in Langhorne Memorial Chapel, followed by brunch in Harrison Dining Hall.
