Wilson Art Studio

Visual arts classes are held in the Wilson Art Studio—a light, bright, open space. Here, students explore the principles of art and elements of design to communicate ideas, cultivate their artistic voice and produce their work. The 1,700-square-foot studio is divided into two main areas:

  • Two-dimensional workspace
    • High-quality, spacious work tables and easels
    • Printmaking press
    • Cameras and high-end printers for digital photography
    • Computers for digital editing
    • A wide range of canvases, papers, wood and other two-dimensional surfaces
    • Professional quality media, including acrylics, pastel, graphite, charcoal, ink, watercolor, collage and much more
  • Three-dimensional workspace
    • Spacious work tables for hand-building
    • Multiple throwing wheels
    • Electric kiln
    • Glazes and underglazes for surface treatments of ceramic work
    • Slump moulds and slab roller for hand-built ceramic work
    • Precision tools for manipulating clay surfaces

The facility is open in the evenings and weekends for advanced artists, and personal workspaces are designated for their work.

Langhorne Memorial Chapel

Music is an important part of our chapel services and assemblies. The beautiful Langhorne Chapel—which accommodates 260 individuals—offers an intimate setting for student, faculty and guest artist performances. The chapel is equipped with a piano and organ. Our most special music celebration each year is Lessons & Carols leading into Christmastime.

Multimedia Studio

In lower level of the King Center is the Recording Studio - a three-room suite that includes performance rooms and a room with high-end sound and recording equipment.
