Costs, Financial Aid & Scholarships

VES Tuition 2023-24

  • Seven-Day Boarding / Domestic Student: $63,200
  • International Boarding Student: $74,100
  • Five-Day Boarding Student $53,000 (very limited option for students from the greater Lynchburg area)
  • Day Student: $30,600

Financial Aid

VES recognizes that choosing a private education requires a tremendous financial commitment.  In an effort to assist families with the costs associated with this choice, VES provides need-based financial aid to families who qualify.  

For New Domestic Families Applying Early:

  1.  Submit your Admission Application by December 1
  2.  Submit your Parents' Financial Statement (PFS), your 2020 and 2021 IRS Form 1040's, and all supporting schedules through the School and Student Services (SSS)  Family Portal by December 1 using school code 7972

Both Admission and Financial Aid decisions will be released by January 10 for those families that have met all of the above deadlines.

For New Families Applying by our Regular Deadline:

  • Boarding Student Applications are due by February 1
