Tri-Societies
Recognizing the School's most generous benefactors

With the introduction of the Tri-Societies, VES seeks to both honor those who have made charitable contributions to VES and to encourage many other alumni, parents, and friends to do likewise.

Today -- The 1916 Society is comprised of donors who make annual gifts of $1,000 or more for the School's current operations. Contributions that qualify the donor for membership may be given at one time or cumulatively over the course of the VES fiscal year, which extends from July 1 to June 30. They may be designated for any program, or left entirely unrestricted to give the School the greatest flexibility to meet needs as they arise. VES is pleased to honor alumni, parents, and friends who make regular gifts to address the school's day-to-day needs.

Tomorrow -- The Langhorne Chapel Society is composed of donors who have made planned gifts to the School, including bequests, gift annuities, charitable remainder trusts and lead trusts, and life insurance designations, among others. These gifts may be designated for specific purposes, such as scholarships, program endowments, faculty development, or may be left undesignated to help address the future needs of the School that cannot be foreseen today. VES is pleased to honor today those donors who provide for the VES of tomorrow.

Life -- The Bishop Jett Society honors alumni and friends who have made cumulative gifts of $100,000 or more. Their generosity is evident throughout campus in named scholarship support, academic chairs, faculty and staff awards, and in construction, renovation, and beautification projects over the years. By such means, members of the Bishop Jett Society have made an indelible imprint on VES.
