Our math professors are fun loving, and they make math a lot of fun for their students. Not only do you get a sense of math, you get it with a sense of humor. Our mathematics program provides the skills and concepts you will need for college. You may enroll in the gifted program, where you will have the opportunity to study Advanced Placement Calculus and Advanced Placement Statistics, or complete your high school work with regular Calculus or Analysis. Electives are also offered for juniors and seniors who have an interest in business or social studies. Graphing calculators are used in all year-long courses, so students have mastered the use of the graphing calculator by the time they finish Algebra II through Trigonometry. Ultimately, the concepts acquired in all of these courses will aid the students throughout their lives. Students are required to complete three credits in mathematics, including Algebra I, Geometry, and Algebra/Trigonometry.
