Computer science at VES is a project-based program. You may choose from many creative options. Create a virtual tour of the VES campus. Put student artwork on the Intranet. Do some video editing of the basketball team's game. It's up to you to think of something unique. To aid you in your work, you will use the best of our equipment -- networked computers and printers in the labs, wireless laptops, digital cameras, high quality scanners, digital projectors, and digital video recording equipment. You will not only have access to but be expected to use Microsoft Office, Adobe Photoshop and Pagemaker, Macromedia Dreamweaver, Fireworks, and many other popular software programs.

Our goal is to help every student learn to use the tools of modern technology to enhance their educational experience and improve their personal productivity now and in the future. If new technology comes along, we'll provide it, teach you about it, and give you the opportunity to work with it. At VES, we make it possible for you to keep up with rapid advancements in technology.

1/3 credit in Computer Science is required for graduation.
