The Strategic Plan represents hours of careful attention and reflection regarding the health and mission of the school, and its message is one of dynamic change and purposeful direction. We are proud of the time and effort expended on this endeavor and we invite you to review the plan. The Strategic Plan was initiated in the spring of 2003 when a diverse group of school family and friends met and discussed the future of VES. From these outreach sessions, a working plan was devised to address every concern and suggestion that was voiced. This working document became the compass to direct committees in their efforts. These committees continue to review, revise, and initiate new ideas for the improvement of the school. They report their efforts directly to the headmaster and the Board of Trustees. The faculty and administration systematically address the goals listed in the plan in order to advance the mission of VES. Using the Strategic Plan as a roadmap, we will work together to strengthen and support the educational program, to build community, and to secure the financial future of Virginia Episcopal School.
